The Oklahoma Water Resources Board has approved funding for water infrastructure projects to benefit Oklahoma City, Tinker Air Force Base, Norman, Midwest City and Del City. (Photo by Shttefan on Unsplash) Oklahoma City has been approved to receive $35 million in funding for water system projects to benefit Tinker Air Force Base and approximately 400,000 people who live or work on or near the base. Planned work will be centered around moving a 60-inch water main that currently runs parallel to Douglas Boulevard from Oklahoma City's Lake Draper to north Oklahoma City.
