An injury crash is causing a major traffic backup Thursday morning on Interstate 40 in Midwest City. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a car rear-ended a truck in the westbound lanes of I-40 near Midwest Boulevard. Sky 5 flew over the scene, where Pilot Chase Rutledge said firefighters worked to extricate a person from the car. Rutledge said they had to take the driver-side doors and frame off to get the person out of the car. That person's condition is unknown. As of 6:50 a.m., the front of the car is still wedged under the truck.
